AOA (Avenue of Arts)

AOA SUPPLY co-founder MAR 1 is passionate about bringing communities together through art. As a Roxbury native, he's most motivated by creating artwork in his neighborhood. He was also part of the "Black Lives Matter" mural. Also, he is one of the curators and organizers of “Black Book Sessions,” a series of weekly events where artists collaborate and share work. He incorporates intricate lines and blocking that make his work unique and versatile in ways that don't fit into one box.

Python is a specialized concept and design lab situated out of an undisclosed location in Boston, Ma. Python™ operates as a twin creative collaboration between GUNRAN™ Private Manufacturing Company and Madeinchina™ Materials Corp. Privately funded and covertly run as an off the books entity, Python™ develops visual ordinance using various production technologies for use in high-impact graphic scenarios.

Kalamu Kieta, an African-American artist born in 1980 in Roxbury, Massachusetts, was raised in a tightly-knit family of nine siblings, fostering within him a profound connection to community and spirituality. His upbringing instilled in him a deep-rooted commitment to enhancing the neighborhoods of Boston and passing on wisdom to future generations.

As a versatile artist, Kalamu demonstrates mastery across various mediums, including intricate drawings, paintings, sculptures, wood carvings, installations, and mixed media. His artistic vision seeks to ensnare spectators, drawing them into an ongoing equilibrium mirroring the flux of everyday existence. Each of his creations carries profound poetic symbolism, shedding light on the human condition and its moments of lucidity.

Kalamu's drawings are renowned for their meticulous precision and tangible texture, showcasing his exceptional craftsmanship. He perceives art as a craft necessitating unwavering dedication to detail and technique.
